Trump: Coronavirus Failure, but…

President Donald J. Trump receives a D– from me for his handling of the Coronavirus pandemic. The only reason I don’t give him an “F” is because I believe he got bad advice from his medical advisors. However, there is no “playbook” for fighting a pandemic and the only other President who could help him (Woodrow Wilson) is long dead. Still, I believe President Trump offers us hope for the future.

As I ponder the overrun of campaign ads and the two debates, I wonder which candidate is more full of crap, regarding their promises. Unfortunately, neither is Ronald Reagan, FDR, or Bill Clinton. Still, I believe the incumbent better understands where our country is now and how to best move ahead. It is very easy for a “Monday Morning Quarterback” to second-guess a game played the day before. Donald Trump, despite his ups and downs knows the status of the Coronavirus vaccine and treatment. He has had the virus and received at least one of the new treatments. He is experienced in this area and better equipped to see that both are distributed to our people in a timely manner.

As for the economy, Trump is a corporate mogol, while Biden is the junior partner of the Obama Administration team. Well, we’ve been down that road before. We need someone who understands finance, not someone trying to become a 2.0 for our last president. Sorry, Kamala Harris has little national leadership experience. However, if you want someone locked up, she is the person.

Our choice is a fumbling shell of a former mediocre politician who believes hiding in his basement is where a leader belongs. Is he competent enough to hold off the very socialists he “beat” in the primary? Sounds like most will be his cabinet choices, his closest advisors. Scary, isn’t it? That would be like me surrounding myself with drug dealers and think I could implement effective anti-drug policies.

The choice is up to you on November 3rd. I already cast my ballot and I think you know who I voted for. Good luck, and please vote!

Some might call me a Conservative others a Moderate. My core beliefs: 1) Christian 2) Republican 3) Pro First and Second Amendments 4) Our country is not racist, neither are most people. Unfortunately, there is hate and distrust among individuals of all colors. New laws, violent protests, and arguing will not solve anything. We must change the heart. 5) Legalize marijuana. There are those who have no other alternative to relieve pain, especially among our disabled, ill, and disabled Veterans. 6) Jesus Christ will return sooner than we expect. (Just my belief)
